Creative Web Designz was founded by Joe Zalucki in 2007.
I have a professional background in art and design, I got involved in website design two years ago when we thought our business www.NaturesPalette.co.uk would benefit from having an online presence, even an online shop. I began researching the subject, learnt some HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language, the building blocks of a web page) and started considering our options. I tried a few D.I.Y. web builders and even tried making one using Microsoft Word, the results were encouraging and doing them gave us a clearer idea of what we were aiming for but they still left a lot to be desired so we decided to find a really good website designer to build an online shop for our business.
After many hours of searching, sending emails and chatting we finally had a list of quotes for what we'd decided by then was to be a fully functioning online shop (with a shopping cart, catagories, SSL certificate and Content Management System). The only problem was the price!!!
It seemed that it was going to be even more costly than we'd previously expected. Just then by chance our local directory was posted through the door and there was an advert for a young website designer Dan Gough that happened to live just down the street from us, we quickly contacted him in the hopes that he may offer us a better price and fortunately he did.
Whilst working on the website and teaching us how to use the C.M.S. he taught me a great deal about the workings of a website and also website graphic design so with our knowledge improved and our interest greatly rekindled I promptly set about designing again and have continued ever since!
